Adele's Birthday

Adele is Val's daycare friend. She turned 3 in March. Her birthday party was held in Lollipop Greenlane.

Val and her best friend, Bella were invited. Both of them had such a great time there, climbing up and down, eating chips etc.....
Val, later, told me if she can have her 4 year old party there....ehhehe........i said if only she behaves till her 4 year old party.....

There is no way she can behave....she's always fulls of energy!
These days, not only act like 'MONKEY'......but also talk like....mm....like what leh?
Well, she just talk talk talk talk talk.....
man.......we always ask her to keep quiet...
When she's really quiet...we start worried and keep asking her to talk....
What kind of parents are we?????????

Baking

We tried to do some activities at home with Val.

Instead of teaching her through 'talking'....we think it would be a good idea to let her be involved. So that nite, I asked Val if she wants to bake and she said she wants to bake chocolate chip cookies.

Apparently her daycare does let them bake and she really enjoys it.
After this time, we actually baked some banana cup cakes......we finished the cupcakes before we had a chance to take any photos...yummy....

My Mother In Law's Bday

Ben's mum birthday falls in February.

As usual, we bought a cake for her and brought her out for dinner. We can't really get a big cake as there are only few of us. This time we bought a durian cake.

Benedict and I fall in love in this cake after we had it in our friend's bb one year old party......so yummy.........
We let Val tried and she's said it's Yucky!!!!!

Wesley Update

Haven't been on blog for a while. Mainly it's because I am so busy at work (yeah rite~~~) hehehe....

Wesley has started daycare today. I was so heartbroken 'imagining' him crying....sob sob.... However, the teachers told me he was alright today......ggggrrrr...........he has some grumpy times before going to sleep....other than that, they have kept him occupied..=)

They told me he was grumpy during the morning tea time and refused having his solid.....OMG....he loves his food so much.....so must be really really grumpy...

When I went to pick him up....he was sleeping....then the teacher brought him out after he wakes up.....i thought he will be 'excited' to see me......instead....he looked at me and turned away and stared at other kids........gggggggggrrrrrrr..........

Anyway, the following photos were taken in April. He has some rashes over his mouths......have applied cream.....but was getting better sometimes then worse another times........=(

Chinese New Year 2009

The above photos were taken on 1st day of Chinese New Year at home.
This year, the 1st day of Chinese New Year fell onto a statutory holiday in Auckland. But still, no Chinese New Year’s feeling here at all. =(

We still perform Chinese custom in giving red packets to parents and children. Val was talking to my sis and she talked in such soft voice and said: Ee Ee, there is money in the red packet.

Hehehe……

As usual, when closer or during Chinese New Year, there are a lot of fun / food fairs held. We’ve been to few. But don’t really bother to take any photos.

The photos above were taken at Greenlane showground. Val was wearing the Chinese costume and attracted a lot of ‘ang mo’. Ehhehe…..

And even got ang mo wanted to take her photos. She has another one in yellow colour. Somehow, didn’t manage to take the photos of that. =D

Lydia & James' Wedding in January

We have known James and Lydia for years. Finally, two of them decided to tie the knot. We are so happy for them! =)

The wedding was held in their home. Not a big big wedding. But it’s very warmth, close and sweet. Lydia nearly burst out in tears while reading her vows!!!!!

Val, since the last two weddings we had in Malaysia, is still afraid of bride. She said she doesn’t like Aunty Lydia in white dress. She refused to let her cuddle etc.

Tonight, I actually am going to a ‘Hens Party’ and Val keeps asking where am I going. I told her I am going to a party. She immediately said, I want to go. I told her Aunty Paris will be wearing the white dress. Guess what she said.

Her immediate response is: I like Daddy. I’m going home with Daddy.

Heheheh……

Update - Wesley

Wes was actually in curiousity (or probably shock) when we put him into hammock. Heheheh.....

Guess what he was doing? Watching TV programme. Once my sis rang and asked Val, what is your baby brother doing....Val answered: He's watching TV. =P

My two precious look a bit bored. ehhehe.....

Just couldn't stop loving him and Val, of course...ehhehe....
